What does it take to make a Care Suite? Come take a tour of one of our recent projects and see for yourself!

The Existing Home

Care suites are versatile in that they can be built from scratch as a stand-alone building, connected by a walkway to a main house, or built as an addition to an exisitng dwelling. In this case, the client wanted to build onto their existing home, yet still retain the look and feel of their old property. Challenge accepted.

Prepping the Site

Concrete patio? Sloping ground? Lots of plant life? None of this phased the Care Suites crew! We got to work immediately breaking up their concrete and prepping the area for the foundation.

Laying the Foundation

Now that the site has been cleared, we’ve built a level foundation that matches the specs the client chose. You can already start to see build-out for the porch area, which is just one of the many features available for our suites.

Well On Our Way

Here you can see the foundation (right) and the floor beams (left) are already being laid. The project is also right on-time and on-budget at this point. Our clients are starting to get excited!

The Finished Result

It’s complete! We just added over 800 square feet of living space, including a great room, bedroom, kitchen, bath, and screened-in porch, all while honoring the original style of the home and protecting the surrounding landscape. Our client was thrilled and so was the new housemate!
